Positions
(1) Chief Financial Controller
Must be C.A with 10+ year"s progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation. Should have experience in partnering with an executive team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA in Finance/marketing
Planning
Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
Develop financial and tax strategies
Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
Operations
Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
Manage the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments
Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations
Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced
Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
Implement operational best practices
Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package
Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions
Financial Information
Oversee the issuance of financial information
Report financial results to the Chairman & Board of Directors
Risk Management
Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry
Construct and monitor reliable control systems
Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors
Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
Funding
Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
Arrange for debt and equity financing
Invest funds
Invest pension funds
Third Parties
Participate in conference calls with the investment community
Maintain banking relationships
Represent the company with investment bankers and investors
(2) Transport Manager Must have at least 15 to 20 years of experience as Supervisor in transportation out which at least 5 to 10 years of experience in managing the heavy vehicle drivers
Should be exposed to scheduling & proper time management of drivers
Should be able to handle a team of at least 15 to 20 drivers independently ,
Should have good communication of English , Malay would be an added advantage
(3) Security Manager
Responsible for conducting site reviews, writing audit/review reports, reviewing findings, and making recommendations line management and /or their security coordinators.
Monitors and evaluates unit performance on key security issues and programs, recommends corrective action programs here appropriate.
Establishes/maintains robust customer relationship to ensure complete understanding of customer processes to enable the delivery of viable security responses.
Responsible for planning, developing and implementing security plans, security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Information Protection, Incident Management and/or Investigation.
Maintains knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology and update management on risk and threat that could impact company business.
Responsible for providing leadership, advice and counsel to line management on security policy and practices. Identifies exposures and to recommend and develop corrective plans as appropriate.
Serves as a staff support to security management and assists in conducting investigations of significant threats and/or the loss or misappropriation of assets,
(4)PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT MANAGER/real estate development Manager
An astute property/real estate Development Manager to spearhead their expansion plans. Key areas of responsibility will be the strategic analysis of Brunei market in terms of macro eco"s, sector analysis, market share and competitor analysis; store planning and development; market planning; site identification; project management as well as ensuring that all commercial and legal aspects and lease management issues are complied
Oversee all aspects of selecting development team, building design, permitting & Construction.
Assess the physical condition of real estate assets, evaluate current/long term financial
Health, develops financial projections, and makes recommendations to chairman /BOD
Plan, direct, or coordinate selling, buying, leasing, or governance activities of commercial, industrial, or residential real estate properties.
Work closely with the property Management Company to review, assess and mak recommendations about execution of regular maintenance.
Plan and provide oversight for major repair and capital improvements to existing real Estate assets
Participate in development of the scope of Work and financial planning for major renovations, possibly including some day to day construction management of such projects
Conduct quarterly physical property inspections
Must have the ability to recognize potential in available land sites for later development, as well as the capacity to secure financing for proposed buildings.
They may have involvement with renewal projects, such as the purchase of neglected properties for development into updated apartment complexes or by repurposing them into a commercial site.
