Quantity Surveyor - Mechanical, Electrical & Civil for EMCC (KSA)

URGENTLY REQUIRED FOR LEADING CO. (ISAM KABBANI CONSTRUCTION GROUP (EMCC) K.S.A.
POSITION (Quantity Survayor (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil)


Qualification B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering / QS or equivalent preferably with Professional Accreditation as QS 


Experience - Minimum of 3 years experience in QS in Construction

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering / QS or equivalent preferably with Professional Accreditation as QS 


Responsibilities -
Pre-measures allocated trades and sections at contract start up 
Works with the clients, PQS and team liaison to agree monthly measures, final measures and variation costing 
Completes site inspections on a regular basis, reviewing progress and possible variations 
Communicates with the Operations Team on site on a daily basis, understanding the work program and progress on site
Re-measures works as required 
Prepares monthly progress claims 
Measure and value new rates and variations 
Sends Sub-Contractor packages for pricing and evaluation before placement of order 
Generates Sub-Contractor documentation for payments, contra charges and final accounts
Monitors and report on costs from allowables and budgets
keeps track of labour, materials, plant and formwork ensuring the costs are within the allowable zone and reporting any anomalies
Reports costs on a monthly basis, detailing cost reconciliations and be able to coordinate with Cost Control Department.
Delegate responsibilities to the Junior / Assistant QS where necessaryject teams.
Monitor the work delivered by the Junior / Assistant QS ensuring it is accurate and produced on time To mentor and motivate others within the team
Assists in preparation of bill of quantities, submittals, and As-Built Drawings.
Assists in preparing project estimates and bids, performing site inspections, and preparing material & quantity takeoffs.
Stays actively involved in the day-to-day field work in order to understand the work being performed.
Demonstrates strong time Management & organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
Uses action lists and seeks guidance from supervisor for prioritizing assigned tasks.
Lists down all the deficiencies and approve rectification on reported deficiencies 
Prepares formal letters & other written communication to customers/owners.
Prepares Daily reports that will be submitted daily to the project manager or projects manager.
Capability of supervising multiple projects, tasks, and individuals at any given time.
In-Depth knowledge in reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and contracts. 
Working knowledge of construction-related processes and industry practices
Excellent documentation, Planning and organizational skills required.
Experience with a self-performing contractor, general contractor, or specialty contractor
High degree of proficiency in financial skills, data analysis and reporting skills
Strong English Language reading and written
Leadership, Committed, Convincing & Challenging 
Experince in CCS and MS Office 
AutoCAD, SAP & other Engineering Software
