Job Title: Piping Foreman
Reporting to: Supervisors-Mechanical
Responsible for: Supervision of Gang leaders and field staff.
Deliverables: Filled documents of applicable Project Procedures
Work Instruction
Manpower Qualification Record
Daily Progress Reports
Tasks: Preparation of the job based on instructions supplemented with the result of the contract review, clarification meeting and planning documents.
Adhere to the project plan as discussed. Guide the gang leaders and fabricators technically.
Arranging of resources.
Direct the execution of the work in a cost effective manner.
Providing necessary guidance to the mechanical personnel for performing the work.
Establish proper work method for the timely completion of the work.
Identify the correct materials and request the same.
Ensure the use of qualified welders and approved welding procedures.
Ensure the use of correct welding consumables and pre-issue processing.
Monitor and control the welding activities and ensure the welding quality.
Report daily progress and man power details.
Communicate the changes of the scope of work / drawings.
Adhere to project quality system requirement as laid down in the project quality manual.
Implement the project quality system requirement for the inspection and test plan
Implementation of company safety system.
Job Boundaries and Decision-making:
Mechanical foreman has the authority to manage resources at site level to realize the work within scope of work.
Full responsibility for the execution of tasks especially in mechanical field in professional manner with regards to time, resources, safety and quality requirements.
Qualifications: Required College Diploma / Certificate or equivalent
Desired Supervisory related qualifications, computer literate
Experience: Required Minimum five (5) years experiences in construction supervision
in refinery, oil and Petrochemical industry
Minimum three (3) years experience of working as a Mechanical Foreman
Desired Mechanical background. Knowledge and experience of fabrication and erection, maintenance and repair in industrial field
