Position: NOC Engineer
We are looking for NOC Engineer with 3 to 5 years to one of our client project in Dubai
Reporting to: Network Manager
Location : Dubai
Duration: 1 year and extendable
Employment: Direct Contract

Scope
The NOC Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, and video and wireless network services for various projects at End Client.
This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization for a variety of complex and large sized projects.
NOC Engineer reports to, Networks and has no direct report.
The NOC Engineer will work closely internally within IT department, with the Projects
department, all End Client employees as well as externally with IT service vendors.
Responsibilities :
Network Support
. Must be well versed with advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management system.
. To ensure the smooth operation of the organization voice and data network in order to provide maximum performance and availability for end users.
. Provides first level technical support for the groups network infrastructure and not limited to functions like installation, support, and maintenance of data and voice network and communication links.
. Coordinate infrastructure upgrades and changes with business entities and other domain team members.
. To liaise and manages vendors on structured cabling and patch panel jobs.
. Level 1 support for all Network related matters
. Diagnose problems and solve issues, often under time constraints
. Implement the necessary controls and procedures to protect information system assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction.
. Must be prepared to participate in an on-call rotation schedule and to be called upon after normal business day when needed.
Administration
. Prioritizes and plans tasks well and completes tasks within set deadlines.
. Monitor incident queues and take ownership of issues needing resolution.
. Interacts with ISPs for new service provisioning and support related matters
. Creates and maintains documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
Required Competencies
. Minimum graduate degree in Computer Science.
. Minimum Certifications in Networking (Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in Routing and Switching)
. Minimum of 3 years expertise in implementing, administrating and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, not limited to firewalls, routers switches, wireless access points and controllers, and monitoring applications.
. Intermediate to expert with configuration, installation, troubleshooting and supporting with above mentioned network infrastructure devices.
. Intermediate to expert in working with OSPF routing protocol . Intermediate to expert with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
. Sound technical knowledge and well versed in documenting and explaining network topology and architecture.
. Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technologies and product using documentation and online resources.
. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
. Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
. Analytical and detailed oriented
. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
. Strong customer service orientation.
