Job Purpose & Scope
As a main administrator of the HSE Information Management the System Officer acts as Super user of HSE data management. He provides assistance to sites and HQ though configuration of the IMS modules.
Proposes changes and development of system requirements and data conversations, related to new features and analysis outputs.
Principal Accountabilities:
a) Administrate the HSE IMS Application with Super User Role providing the below:
o Application User Access and Access Security
o Managing the menu, responsibilities, request sets, roles and permission set in HSE System
o Identifying and Auditing critical data access
o Workflow monitoring and administration
b) Functional Support & Change Control
o Provide functional application and business expertise to support end users
o Perform configuration changes required as a result of system problem or changes in process or procedures
o Recommends work- around and process improvements or modifications to meet business requirements
o Managing the issues logged by business users and answer queries, coordinate with the Information Technology Department as required..
o Maintain User Defined Tables, Look Ups, Value sets, Profile Values , Master Informations etc.
o Analyze data related issues and Analyze functional issues.
o Workflow Approval Configuration
o Testing and Quality Assurance of solution changes in test instance.
o Functional configuration of the Application
o Handle Ad-hoc Report requirements gathering
o Reports development including monthly / yearly end closing reports related to HSE performance
Qualification & Experience
a.) B.S. Information System, B.S. Management of Information System (MIS), or any IT related discipline
b.) 5 years experience in Oil/Gas preferable HSE and solution
c) 3 years offshore experience
c.) Very good command of written and spoken English
