Restaurant Supervisor and Assistant Restaurant Manager for Kuwait

A chain Restaurant looking for following personnel  in Kuwait.


Restaurant Supervisor


Experience: 1 to 2 yrs

Requirement:
  Strong communication skills (Verbal, Listening & Writing)
Basic working knowledge in Micros.
Hotel school graduate or Equivalent
Previous hotel or Restaurant experience as Supervisor for 2 years is essential
Demonstrating good Leadership Skills. 

Responsibilities :
Encourage and motivate employees to perform their best, take responsibility for tasks
and assignments, make decisions and provide input on possible improvements.
Assist your and other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
Notify Maintenance manager on maintenance issues.
Report any employee, guest, incidents and accidents to management with proper
documentation.
Communicate information to manager by documenting pertinent information in
appropriate department logbook
Follow property key policies, including checking out and returning keys to
appropriate departments. Serve as a departmental role model or mentor by working
alongside employees to perform technical or functional job duties. Assign and ensure
work tasks are completed on time and that they meet appropriate quality standards.
Ensure that hourly employees are trained on company core values, job roles,
responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job.
Assist management to ensure that hourly employees have the necessary resources to
effectively perform their jobs (e.g., supplies, equipment, and inventory).
Assist management in establishing and communicating goals, performance
expectations, timetables and deadlines for shift or departmental operations to hourly
employees and ensure that they are understood.
Coach and develop employees (e.g., create expectations for continual improvement,
provide challenging tasks and assignments, hold development discussions, and
construct and execute development plans).
Listen to hourly employees' suggestions for improving how work is done and how
guests are served, gaining management support as needed to act upon suggestions.
Coordinate tasks and work with other departments to ensure that the department runs
efficiently.
Collaborate with management to develop and carry-out ideas and procedures, and set
goals to continuously improve department performance around guest and employee
satisfaction scores.
Check the Dining Floor/Patio to ensure all tables are prepared with specified set up
Handle all Tasks assigned to you, do not leave the floor without proper authorization.

Salary: 180 KWD per month + 20 KWD Food Allowances

Assistant Restaurant Manager



Experience: 2 to 3 yrs

Requirements:
Strong communication skills (Verbal, Listening & Writing)
Basic working knowledge in Micros.
Hotel Management graduate or Equivalent.
Previous Hotel or Restaurant experience as Asst. Manager for 2 years is essential.
Demonstrating good Leadership Skills.

Responsibilities
Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial
objectives are met.
Ensures all servers have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms.
Empowers servers to provide excellent customer service within guidelines.
Handles staff questions and concerns.
Handles guest problems and complaints, seeking assistance from Mangers as
necessary.
Monitors staff to ensure performance expectations are met.
Provides feedback to staff based on observation of service behaviors.
Strives to improve service performance.
Sets a positive example for guest relations.
Assists in the review of comment cards and guest satisfaction results with associates.
Supervises daily shift operations.
Supervises restaurant and all related areas in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
Communicates to Chef and Restaurant Manager any issues regarding food quality and
service levels.
Meets and greets guests.
Participates in department meetings by communicating a clear and consistent message
regarding the departmental goals to produce desired results.
Ensures compliance with all restaurant policies, standards and procedures.
Manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
Supervises on-going training initiatives.
Performs all duties of restaurant associates and related departments as necessary.
Opens and closes restaurant shifts.
Uses all available on the job training tools for associates.
Communicates performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each

Salary: 300 KWD+ Free 100 KWD accommodation Allowance etc.
