Retail Salesman for Saudi Arabia

Experience: 2 to 7 yrs.

Urgently required for a leading Group of Companies for their Consumer / Retail Products in Saudi Arabia.

General Description 

-Assessing and fulfill Customers needs (information, product )
-Inspiration source for Customer in order to enhance sales 
-Ensure proper stock level for categories handled (regular and promotional) throughout the day 
-Responsible for overall visual merchandising, pricing and the implementation of POS materials

Essential Job Functions
Service 

-Assist customers to find products they are looking for 
-Propose complementary items 
-Ensure that all customers queries are fulfilled, daily, with a high sense of priority 
-Ensure demonstrate superior customer services while working at the sales floor. 

Products 

-Compliance to plan-o-grams and Visual Merchandising programs. 
-Ensure accessibility, cleanliness and price labeling 
-Ensure the products range corresponds to customer needs, and report to Sales Controller any issue 
-Identify fast moving goods to ensure presence throughout the day 
-Identify slow moving items and propose action to be taken 
-Assist the Sales Controller & Floor Supervisor for product ordering

Operational 

-Perform stock count as per company requirement 
-Maintain all price tags and POS materials 
-Keep the shelves full, tidy and properly arranged. 
-Manage stocks in compliance with seasons, promotions, sales 
-Ensure sensitive stock is protected as per company procedure (tags, shrink wrapping ) 
-Cooperate with Sales Controller & Floor Supervisor to determine strategic approaches to improve sales 
-Coordinate with customer service to meet with commitment taken toward customers 
-Comply with wastage and clearance procedure 
-Ensure overall cleanliness level of in-charged areas 

Performance 

-Identify sales opportunities for respective sections 
-Take appropriate action to ensure that the section is maximizing sales or profit 

Loss Prevention & Safety 

-Ensure adherence to all company directed programs. 
-Advise Sales Supervisor about potential security risks and major shrink issues. 
-Ensure that the store environment is safe for employees and customers. 
-Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft and other security risks and promptly communicated to loss prevention. 
-Comply with all Safety & Security procedures. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 

-Be able to communicate in English 
-Knowledge in spoken Arabic would be an advantage. 
-Basic mathematical skills including some knowledge of weights and measures 
-Basic sale skills 
-Good knowledge of products categories handled 
-Dynamism 
-Able to work under pressure 

Qualification Standard 

-Secondary school certificate with 02 years experience in a retail or wholesale environment 
-Must meet all requirements in the application process 
-Must pass reference check 
-Must pass all governmental validation for educational credential and medical requirements
