Job Description:
Retail Channel Marketing - Tablet and Phone, APJ, is a new role being set up within the APAC Retail and Channels Marketing team, with the purpose of setting up and driving Intel's product strategy in catering to the specific needs of small, medium and large retailers for phones and tablets in the region. This role is expected to be a critically important part of Intel's product strategy in Tablets and Phones and the person will act as the expert in this areas, driving creation, prioritization and execution of strategy in reaching out to the Phone and Tablet retail channel.
As a member of this team, the person will have to assimilate information from within the team as well as with countries with in APJ & from other stakeholders and build out the short, medium and long term retail marketing strategy to ensure Intel's success in this channel. The candidate is expected to influence business strategies by recommending plans, assessing impacts, seeking ratification and driving issues to resolution. This role is expected to work in lockstep with Intel's Brand Marketing, Retail Marketing and the in-country sales and marketing teams.
The ideal candidate would possess the following behavioral characteristics:
Intrinsic knowledge and experience with retail channels - especially the phone channel.
A deep interest and working knowledge of technology products especially phones and tablets
Excellent Customer Engagement skills including extensive problem-solving experience
Ability to work in a team with strong interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
Ability to perform well under pressure with deadlines
Takes pride in work and in the quality of interactions
