Senior Accountant for Sayed Farms Ltd, Nigeria

Responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts;

Ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures;

Ensuring all financial reporting deadlines;

Preparing financial management reports;

Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close;
Establishing and monitoring the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures;

Resolving accounting discrepancies and irregularities;

Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities;

Monitoring and supporting taxation issues;

Developing and maintaining financial data bases;

Preparing financial audit and coordinating the audit process;

Ensuring accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses;

Analyzing and advising on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues;

Analyzing financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, providing strategic recommendations and maintaining solutions to business and financial problems.

Minimum of 5 years experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice; 

Knowledge of accepted accounting, economic, and auditing principles;

Problem analysis, judgment and problem-solving, Stress tolerance. 

Knowledge and experience of related computer applications;

Attention to detail and accuracy; 

Planning and organizing;

Strong communication skills

They candidate should have strong personality, able to work under high circumstances and have a teamwork spirit.
