HAZOP Engineer for Kuwait

Experience: 6 to 11 yrs.

Exp in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Chemical Industry

• Communication with all levels of staff
• Experience in technical audit actions
• Facilitation of risk assessments, ORA's, HAZOP's & incident investigations
• To perform HAZOP analyses in an Operating Petroleum Products Depot. 
• Candidate will be responsible for evaluating the design and operational parameters of the sites processes to identify potential hazards resulting from Modifications in the processes original design intent. 
• Conducts studies to analyze & implement changes in plant operations. Prepares HAZOP data for new projects and major revamps. Provides comments on the drawings and P&J (Piping & Instrumentation) diagrams. Expertise in leading HAZOP studies. - Ability to read engineering drawings (e.g. P&IDs, PFD5), - Familiarity with noding concepts, - Ability in hazard identification, - Knowledge of LNG process operations and equipment, - Experience in risk ranking/risk management, - Proven leadership, interpersonal and influencing skills, - Good adaptability to multicultural environment with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Typical work activities will include: reviewing existing data to confirm adequacy for the existing processes and equipment; responsible for risk assessment, necessitating hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies Ensuring that all aspects of an operation or process meet specified regulations.
• Liaising with other process engineers, perhaps working on associated plants.
• Working closely with other specialists
