Establish site facilities
Reorganising shuffling of groups and teams as required in co-ordination with the Overhaul Deputy Manager
Ensure timely arrival of the work force at plant and organize the punching of time cards. Liaise with the time sheet co-ordinator for verification of site attendences and carry out head counts on a daily basis.
Ensure appropriate allocation of manpower and equipment resources in consultation with Overhaul and Deputy Overhaul Managers.
Implementation of safety rules including wearing of safety gear by workers,and to take note and appropriate action of any violation of rules reported by Safety officers.
Co-ordinates with sub contractors engineers & supervisors of various crafts regarding manpower and equipment requirements/allocation.
To control the smoking breaks and duration of smoking by junior staff.
To be vigilant of house keeping of plant and offices,also to arrange positioning of skips in designated area and the removal of redundant material to the scrapyard.
Arrange cold drinking water for offices and site and arrange tea breaks for Contractors manpower within the stipulated timings.
Transportation of tune bundles for hydrojetting and the return of same.
To co-ordinate movement of equipment in the common pool through designated supervisors such as Hydrojetting equipment,welding machines,air supervisors,sand blasting/painting equipment within the plant as per requirements.
Ensure all work is done in accordance with ADGAS standards/Procedures.
Reports to contractors Deputy overhaul Manage.

The role of Site & Labour superintendent is a pivotal one during overhauls and his responsibilities include close co-ordination with the Overhaul / Deputy overhaul manager, Area Engineers and supervisors (ADGAS/Contractor) and to perform the following functions;
