Talent Planning & Recruitment Specialist for Qatar

    JOB TITLE :SPECIALIST TALENT PLANNING & RECRUITMENT      
    REPORTS TO : HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

    PREFERRED CANDIDATES WITH EXCELLENT BACKGROUND FROM STEEL INDUSTRY.  

    ROLE PURPOSE 
    THE JOB OF THE SPECIALIST OF TALENT PLANNING & RECRUITMENT IS A HIGHLY SPECIALIZED POSITION FOR CREATING AND IMPLEMENTING THE TALENT MANAGEMENT INFRASTRUCTURE, FRAMEWORK, AND STRATEGIES TO SUPPORT THE HUMAN RESOURCES PLANS. THE SPECIALIST IDENTIFIES AND RECOMMENDS OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE AND ALIGN SUPPORTING SYSTEMS AND CREATES AND IMPLEMENTS AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO TALENT MANAGEMENT .

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    1.)  RESPONSIBLE FOR BUILDING, MENTORING AND LEADING AN AGILE RECRUITING TEAM. SETS AND PRIORITIZES ACTIVITY GOALS FOR THE TEAM AND ENSURES GOALS ARE MET TO EFFECTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY HIRE THE BEST CANDIDATES.

    2.) BUILD CANDIDATE SOURCES BY RESEARCHING AND CONTACTING COLLEGES, EMPLOYMENT AGENCIES, RECRUITERS, MEDIA, INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS AND INTERNET SITES. UPDATE INFORMATION OF THE CANDIDATE

    3.) OVERSEES IMPLEMENTATION OF APPROVED STRATEGIES AND GROWTH INITIATIVES, AND EFFECTIVELY TARGETS PRACTICES TO IDENTIFY CANDIDATES IN ENGINEERING, TECHNICAL, PROFESSIONAL, CLERICAL AND MANUFACTURING FIELDS.

    4.) NEGOTIATING OFFERS, RELOCATIONS, START DATES, ETC, WITHIN APPROVED BOUNDARIES. RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING RECRUITMENT ACTIVITIES ARE IN FULL COMPLIANCE WITH AFFIRMATIVE ACTION REQUIREMENTS.

    5.) DESIGNING, DEVELOPING, IMPLEMENTING AND EVALUATING LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS FOR COMPANYS EXECUTIVE LEVELS. DESIGNING AND DEVELOPING INNOVATIVE AND HIGH EFFECT TALENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS AND PROCESSES.

    6.) PROVIDING PROFICIENT CONSULTATION ON ALL PHASES OF TALENT MANAGEMENT SUCH AS SUCCESSION MANAGEMENT, ASSESSMENT, TALENT PIPELINES & SELECTION PROCESS.

    7.) WORKING WITH CLIENTS TO ASSESS DEVELOPMENT NEEDS, PERFORMING GAP ANALYSIS, DESIGNING AND LEADING PROGRAMS THAT BUILD PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND CAPABILITY.

     8.) SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING PERIODICALLY THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHARTS IN ORDER TO ENSURE THE ORGANIZATION CHART MATCH WITH THE COMPANY OBJECTIVES.

    9.) LIAISE REGULARLY WITH SENIOR BUSINESS MANAGEMENT IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND ONGOING BUSINESS ACTIVITIES AND DEVELOPMENT AND THE IMPLICATIONS THIS WILL HAVE FOR HR  SERVICE SUPPORT

    10.) ATTEND AND CONTRIBUTE TO BUSINESS PLANNING AND DECISION MAKING MEETINGS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE HR INPUT AND SUPPORT TO OVERALL BUSINESS DECISION MAKING

    11.) PREPARE MANAGEMENT INFORMATION REPORTS IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT SENIOR MANAGERS HAVE THE RELEVANT INFORMATION NEEDED TO SUPPORT STRATEGIC DECISION-MAKING.

    12.) IMPLEMENT OF QATARIZATION STRATEGIC TO ENSURE SELECT AND RECRUIT OF QUALITY QATARIS IS BASED ON PERFORMANCE, AND COMPETENCE, AND SHOULD BE BALANCED WITH OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS TO ENSURE A SMOOTH OPERATION.

    - UNIVERSITY DEGREE PLUS 10 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN HR
    - ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION PREFERRED,
    - WELL DEVELOPED KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE STEEL INDUSTRY BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT AND A THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF THE STEEL BUSINESS
    - ABILITY TO OPERATE INDIVIDUALLY, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIP AND INFLUENCE PROFESSIONALS.
    - COMMERCIAL AWARENESS
