Lead Instrument Engineer

Qualification: 
BE/ BTech in Instrumentation/ Electronics from reputed institution/ college/ university.
Experience: 
Should have 15-18 years’ experience in, FEED, detail engineering, EPC activities, procurement,  installation and commissioning  of instrumentation and control systems projects related to upstream oil & gas particularly  Onshore/Offshore/ FPSO/ Marine/MOPU/ MODU experience. Good communication skills (written & verbal), committed individual who is expected to stretch beyond the boundaries to meet the business goals & objectives. 
Skills/Competencies:
Proactive and flexible attitude.
Demonstrates overall supervision and administrative oversight of personnel including Instrument engineers, design & drafting dept.
Good exposure to E&I EPC nature of projects for oil and gas including business development, proposals/bids management, contract management, project management, construction management etc.
Provides technical expertise and support during various phases of the project execution.
Demonstrates experience and expertise with various engineering deliverables and procurement engineering and is aware of commercial, contractual and administrative aspects of the Instrument scope of work.
Ensures and facilitates an awareness of HSEQ in all of the FEED & EPC activities and team mates.
Promotes innovation, Quality Control throughout their team ensuring that their team works within the Quality Management System and participates in regular quality audits.

 Job Description
Strategize and manage all Instrumentation, Control  (E&I) EPC and related bids and proposals- from technical and commercial perspective
Feasibility Study, FEED, detail engineering of instrumentation, control, ESD  and F&G system (onshore & offshore)
Leading EPIC project from all of the instrumentation & control perspective
Provide technical and strategic assistance/ guidance to the technical trading activities (including packaged E&I systems) undertaken by the company
Ensure proper loading for the people working under. Accountable for their activities and jobs
As Technical Authority for Instrument and control, ESD, PSD, DC, F&G systems  related queries and doubts on projects and technical trading activities
Design & implementation of DCS/ ESD/ F&G system, SCADA system, Marine/ shipside control system
Coordinates to achieve productive relationship with the other business units globally.
Sizing and selection of various instrumentation & electrical equipment, systems and control/ shutdown/ relief valves.
Good knowledge of Hazardous area classification and requirements
Strong analytical and leadership skills
Very good interpersonal skills
Willing to travel overseas for client meetings and proposal discussions/ FAT etc on short notice.
Update and upkeep the line management about the planning, progress and strategies.

Sr. Process Engineer

Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from a reputed University/College.
Experience: 
 Should have  10 - 12 years of experience in process design and design verification related to Oil & Gas upstream and downstream projects.
Overall thorough life cycle knowledge of FEED/EPC/EPCM projects in Oil & Gas industry
Conversant with all international standards and codes such as API, NFPA, AMSE, ANSI etc as well as best engineering practices
Familiarity with PFDs, UFDs, P&IDs, HYSYS, Aspen, OLGA, PIPESIM, Pipeline Studio
Candidates with UAE, Middle East, African or Gulf experience shall only be considered.
Specific Responsibilities:
Leading a team of discipline engineers & draftsmen and provide the necessary guidance so as to ensure timely delivery of quality deliverables related to Process Design & Process Safety for cross country Pipelines.
Process design & engineering in Oil & Gas Industry with experience in preparation of Process Design Basis/Description, PFDs, UFDs, P&IDs, Process data sheet for equipment & Instrument, Sizing of station piping, Process Simulation using Aspen HYSYS, HMBT, Pipeline hydraulics / Steady State Flow Assurance using PIPESIM or Pipeline Studio, Cause & Effect Matrix, Flare radiation calculation, Venting & Drain Philosophy, Dispersion Study, Isolation Philosophy, Process Safety study, Material Selection Diagram, Utility Summary, Chemical consumption summary, Surge Analysis, Resolving HAZID, HAZOP and SIL review report etc.
Update all process deliverables that were prepared in the FEED phase.
Update all necessary P&ID’s during / after re-engineering. Updating of ‘as built’ drawings as required & carryout necessary detailed engineering activities during execution.
Good knowledge of HAZI/HAZOP and Risk Assessment. Capability to independently lead onshore / offshore infrastructure upgrade projects.

SR. MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

  
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed University/College.
Experience: 
   Should have 10 - 12 years of experience in mechanical design and design verification related to Oil & Gas upstream and downstream projects.
Overall thorough life cycle knowledge of FEED/EPC/EPCM projects in Oil & Gas industry
Conversant with all international standards and codes such as API, ASME, ANSI etc as well as best engineering practices
Should have thorough knowledge of Mechanical Design using PDS / PDMS. Should be familiar with Solidworks and other 3D software
Candidates with UAE, Middle East, African or Gulf experience shall only be considered.
Specific Responsibilities:
Should be able to conduct detailed mechanical design applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials
Create and refine technical mechanical part and assembly drawings to capture design intent
Create and refine complex mechanical components including sourcing, volume models, key performance parameters, etc.
Create detailed models and drawings for mechanical parts and equipment – rotating and static
Provide design-related input into kick-off, design review, project planning and other meetings
Provide details of inspection requirements of designs
Support design and commissioning activities on and offshore
Check or approve drawings and modify designs, documents and drawings where needed
Perform hand calculations and FEA to verify equipment design and resolve any design issues following analysis

Overall thorough life cycle knowledge of FEED/EPC/EPCM projects in Oil & Gas industry
Conversant with all international standards and codes such as API, NEC, ATEX, COMPEX etc as well as best engineering practices
Should have thorough knowledge of Electrical Design using PDS / PDMS, ETAP / EDSA etc.
Candidates with UAE, Middle East, African or Gulf experience shall only be considered.
Specific Responsibilities:
Should be conversant with medium and low voltage distribution systems both overhead and underground as well as branch circuit wiring to industrial equipment.
Should have extensive experience in electrical and power design and specification
Should have adequate knowledge in power generator design, electrical systems design, electrical safety requirements and electrical systems maintenance

Overall thorough life cycle knowledge of FEED/EPC/EPCM projects in Oil & Gas industry
Conversant with all international standards and codes such as API, ASME, ANSI etc as well as best engineering practices
Should have thorough knowledge of Piping Design using PDS / PDMS. Should be familiar with SPR, Navisworks and Caeser II
Candidates with UAE, Middle East, African or Gulf experience shall only be considered.
Specific Responsibilities:
Extensive current design experience in piping engineering, piping stress, pipe supports, topsides & onshore/offshore plant equipment layouts and detailed piping design
Study and understand the blueprints of designs prepared by planners.
Deal with the various aspects of piping such as fabrication, installation, repair / maintenance and replacements.
Should be familiar with Conceptual and detailed piping design
Should be able to develop Plot plan, Equipment Layouts, Piping Layouts, Isometrics and Pipe support drawings
Should be able to generate Pipes, Fittings and Valves MTO
Should be able to prepare Data sheet, purchase requisition for Piping bulk items and Valves
Should be conversant with the review and design of special supports
Should be conversant with Piping stress analysis, inference and related re-design

Experience:

10 - 12 years of experience in pipeline design and design verification related to Oil & Gas upstream and downstream projects.
Overall thorough life cycle knowledge of FEED/EPC/EPCM projects in Oil & Gas industry
Conversant with all international standards and codes such as API, ASME, ANSI etc as well as best engineering practices
Should have thorough knowledge of Piping Design using PDS / PDMS. Should be familiar with SPR, Navisworks, CAESAR II AND Pipeline Studio
Candidates with UAE, Middle East, African or Gulf experience shall only be considered.
Specific Responsibilities:
Ensure that Pipeline design has been carried out as per project specifications
Read, understand and analyse Geotechnical / Topographic reports for the purposes of pipeline design
Capture data from survey reports and co-ordinate maps to base the pipeline design
Prepare pipeline route map, station drawings, plot plans and pipeline alignment sheets
Prepare design calculations for Anchor Blocks
Prepare upheaval buckling calculations and On-bottom stability analysis
Should be able to generate Pipeline, Fittings and Valves MTO
Should be able to prepare Data sheet, purchase requisition for Pipeline bulk items and Valves
Should be conversant with Pipeline stress analysis, inference and related re-design
