Construction Engineer for Nigeria

Job Purpose:
 To ensure that construction works meet client specifications and project executed within time and cost schedule. 

Job description / Responsibilities:
1. Determine day to day site activities and implement overall project schedule
2. To prepare and implement work procedures.
3. Manages all construction aspects of the project, commencing with the development of the execution strategy, work programs, schedules and construction plan.
4. Focal point for all construction activities within the project team by directing and coordinating all construction phases
5. Providing an independent channel of communication to the project management on quality related matters and initiating necessary management action to resolve program deficiencies, and assuring solutions have been achieved.
6. Prepare Construction Technical Query (CTQ) and request it for approval to client
7. Control of drawing and application of the latest Approve for Construction (AFC) drawing for construction.
8. Undertake general site organization including staff mobilization scheduling and materials /construction equipment control.
9. Undertake site activities coordination with both client and company action parties.

Required Education and Experience: 
Degree/HND in Engineering 
At least 5 years related experience.


General Knowledge and Technical Skills: 
Knowledge of tank construction and repairs
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of tanks.
