Civil Engineer for Greenfield Project in Mozambique

Responsible for the inspection of drawings and civil works carried out by the architect, engineers and contractors
Ensures proper scheduling, coordination, and planning of works and resources and execution
Manages civil contractors working onsite: defines the missions and objectives of implementation partners, monitors execution of civil works, reports progress to management, facilitates communications and relationships,
Conducts meetings with contractors and other implementation partners regularly
Conveys management policies to the contractors
Communicates results to the top management,
Keeps himself informed of general plant practices so as to ensure on-call duty
Contributes to/participates in the long-term project investment plan
Ensures working conditions and safety at work
