Assistant Accounts Manager for Hamdan Trading Group LLC, Oman

Any Arabic National, Any European National, Indian, Filipino

Reporting line to Financial Controller

• In depth knowledge of IAS, IFRS, Corporate Law and Taxation,

• Consolidation of group financial results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis,

• Identifying areas for cost cutting and improvement, 

• Financial budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting and financial analysis skills, 

• Ensuring that all financial controls (standard controls as well as established in line with internal audit department) for different business processes are met and adhered to at all times, 

• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance, 

• Meet accounting and financial objectives by formulating annual/monthly budget with the support of respective managers, conducting variance analysis, reporting and implementing corrective actions,

• Scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions,

• Ensure recording of accurate transactions in GL and 
hard closure of monthly posting in the ERP system, 

• Co ordination with insurance provider for timely settlement of claims,

• Segment reporting/branch performance reporting to the management, 

• Ensure accurate and timely punching of revenue into the system by different reporting segments,

• Organize monthly/annual stock count at different operational locations, 

• Identify and resolve the ERP issues relating to data entry and reports

• Complete knowledge of LC operations,

• Bank dealing, timely reconciliations regular review of banking facilities and ensure timely repayments, 

• Follow up for collections and maintain adequate liquidity to support operations, 

• Execute annual physical fixed asset count

• Document controller for various agreements/legal/financial

• Inter division reconciliation

• Reconciliation of customers account with their books


Age limit; 28-35

Qualification

• Qualified/part qualified CA or ACCA, and 

• B.com/M.Com/MBA Finance from reputable recognized institution, 

Required Skill Set 

Sound understanding of ERP, Microsoft word, excel, power point, spreadsheets, 

Relevant Industry: Manufacturing/engineering/logistics/service

Specialist

• Sound understanding of International Accounting & Auditing Standards
Experience :

• 5-8 years, must be able to handle a team of 8-10 accountants

• Working experience with leading practices is essential

• Smart presentable personality with strong interpersonal skills. 

• English interpersonal communication skill are essential
