Project Engineer for Oman

Position: Project Engineer - Design
Location: Muscat, Oman
Salary: Not a constraint for right candidates.
Qualification: Graduate in Engineering.

Job Description:

• Minimum 7 - 10 years of work experience in Design and Engineering of Power and Oil & Gas EPC Projects
• Reporting to Sr. Manager Design
• Prepare Technical proposals & PQ documents for Client submission, as required.
• Prepare engineering estimate proposals during bid stage in coordination with Lead Engineers. 
• Coordinate with QHSE department for project specific Engineering quality plan.
• Prepare the engineering planning schedule and Document control register (DCR) in coordination with Lead Discipline Engineers input. 
• Arrange for site visits for the design team, as and when required and to coordinate with construction team for relevant data collection for design team.
• Continuously track project progress to ensure job completion within schedule & estimated cost.
• Coordinate with the clients and subcontractors on engineering activities and to attend project progress monitoring meetings as well as technical review meetings.
• Track, compile and monitor the engineering man-hrs consumed by various disciplines against the estimated man-hrs. To notify the concerned in time, if there is a likelihood of exceeding the estimated hours so as to bring it on control.
• Conduct periodic meetings with Lead Engineers to assess the work progress and to communicate client requirements and concerns.
• Coordinate for the documents/design deliverables transfer to clients/project execution team/procurement/site, through document controllers.
• Ensure proper document tracking is being done and records are maintained by the document controller.
• Good understanding of EPC Projects Engineering requirement and design department.
