Senior Aeronautical Engineer 

AMM Enterprise GmbH is seeking an experienced full time Senior Aeronautical Engineer. The successful candidate will drive a project from concept to completion, working not only with the customer but the manufactures, installers, aviation authorities and pilots. He is responsible for producing, checking and verifying design data, drawings and compliance documentation to support delivery and certification of the project.

Key responsibilities

Technical checking, compliance verification of designs, drawings, reports and certification documentation developed by others
Assure that the type design is according to applicable Certification Specification and environmental protection requirements
Demonstrate and verify the compliance with these Certification Specification (CS) and environmental protection requirements
Demonstrate to the Agency this compliance
Coordination of the documents and reports issued with regard to project
Coordination of the personal involved in the project
Interaction with other disciplines such as avionics

Education and skills

Dipl.-Engg. or Masters in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of technical standards with regards to approved test procedure, calculations or other procedures
Thorough knowledge of EASA/FAA requirements and EASA Part 21, particularly subpart J
Ability to support commercial proposals regarding resource efforts
Ability to manage personnel and provide guidance to junior staff where appropriate
Ability to work on a number of projects simultaneously
Technical creativity and ability to work in a team with engineers of various subjects and independently
Attention to detail
Good communication skills
Fluent in German and English

Experience

At least 5 years working under DOA as DE within type design processes or comparable background
Examples of interaction with EASA / FAA regarding design projects
Examples of developing designs from concept to detailed drawings
Experience of working Maintenance and Production Facilities and data control
