- Responsible for commissioning, installation, repairs and maintenance of production equipment and systems
- Provide timely and accurate manufacturing related responses to internal customers
- Assist supervisors and operators to trouble-shoot and resolve specific manufacturing engineering problems
- Analyse and isolate root curses of process issues and develop and implement permanent solutions
- Provide technical support that address process concerns in product developments
- Analyse existing process control systems, determine their effectiveness and seek improvements to enhance productivity, quality and safety
- Actively participate in cost reduction programs
- Lead, train and motivate a team of technicians
- Liaise with contractors for service and repair of machines and ensure that their services are in compliance with specifications and safety rules
