Position : Promotion & Merchandising Manager

Experience 7 - 18yrs.

Location Angola (Africa)

Qualification Graduate / Post Graduate

Facilities - Travel , Medical, Single Accommodation, Food & other facilities as per expats policy

Job Duration 5yrs.Contract (1+1+1+1+1 yrs.)

Important Points -
Contract Terms :- 05 years
Leave Policy :- 21 days paid Leave after every 01 year
Security Deposit :- 03 months salary deducted in the period of 1 year on pro-rata basis
Reimbursement of Security Deposit :- On completion of contract with FNF
Increment Policy :- Yearly Performance based
Salary Budget :- Not a constraint for the right profile
Salary Offer if selected : 50% hike on current Net salary received in Bank A/c

Job Description :

Handles store operational requirements by assigning employees, following up on work results. 
Maintains store staff by recruiting, orienting, and training employees. 
Plan budget and manage store profitability 
Identifies customer requirements 
Ensures availability of merchandise and services 
Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends. 
Analyses advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; 
Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures. 
Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements. 
Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records. 
Contributes to team effort and be a team player 
Should have knowledge on retail billing software 
Should have good computer skills 
Knowledge on FMCG retail would be added advantage 
Set and ensure store targets are met 
Forecast stocks with Importation and logistics department 
Managing adequate stock levels at stores 
Should track expiry, age of stocks and plan for liquidation if required 
Should be able to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
