Need Senior Retail Merchandiser Planner for a Leading Fashion and Garment Co in Dubai
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field
• Experience:
o Proven experience in Merchandise to any of the following categories:
[Suit ; Shirt ; Trouser ; Casual wear including Denim Jeans ; Knitwear ( T-shirt ; Pullover & Innerwear ); woven, outerwear; Ladies products (long dress, tops, bottoms, party wear) denim; Shoes ; Leather Jackets ; socks ; Bags & Accessories. ]
o Preferred experience in retail chains like Aditya Birla, Reliance, etc.
• Age and Status: Preferably single between the ages of 25 and 32
• Knowledge and kills:
o Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• High IQ
• Good with numbers
• Has a sense of fashion
Responsibilities:
o Identify fast moving/ slow moving merchandise
o Identify sales opportunities through effective strategic planning and execution that achieve financial goals.
o Responsible for forecasting sales plans and revising requirements during in-season trading, drafting merchandise plans down to the level of Store by month by department, detailing sales,
markdown, intake, and stock
o Take necessary action against low sales garments of all seasons
o Create seasonal financial plans; examine and anticipate sales, margin, and turn in comparison to plan and trend.
o Analyze market needs based on fashion trends
o Analyze competitor prices.
o Determine the most important trading factors based on Brand/Product.
o Analyze historical sales data to create desirable SKU breakdown by classification along with reasonable color counts.
o Provide accurate input to the sourcing team in order for them to create a proper budget / OTB that takes into account all aspects, including cost factors.

o Responsible for tracking stock transfers across locations based on demand and sales trends / inputs.

o Responsible for product movement; stock in stores; stock in transit; stock in warehouse; both in the UAE and abroad.
o Analyze allocation strategies to create location traits and allocation mask profiles based on current sales trends.
o Plan product locations and SKU mixes for different categories
Salary: AED8,000.00 to AED9,000.00
Merchandiser Manager / Product Manager - Leather Goods
Requirements:
• Education: BS in Leather Technology or any Bachelor's Degree with Diploma in Leather Technology or a related field
• Experience: 10+ years experience in buying Houses, sourcing & manufacturing companies for Leather goods ( Bags, shoes Wallet, Belt)
• Age and Marital Status: Preferably single between the ages of 30 and 35; however if their skills and experiences match most/all of our criteria then we can make an exception up to 40 years old
• Knowledge and Skills:
o High IQ
o Good with numbers
o Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
o Has a sense of fashion
o Candidate must be willing to travel to China
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the entire order management from Fabric to garment manufacturing till goods are delivered to the warehouse in Dubai.
• Planning and preparing orders, Budget, and target cost.
• Preparing the order and making sure of all the details such as measurement chart, size ratio, fabric, trims, packing details, and all required technical specifications available.
• Being aware of the prevailing fabric, other materials, trim prices, and suppliers both local and international.
• Being responsible for preparing the tech pack of our orders with all required data & samples.
• Working out the detailed costing with correct fabric, dying processing/washing cost, trim rates, consumption, wastage, printing or any other embellishments, CM, packing materials costs, overhead, etc.
• Discussing the FOB cost with the line manager and negotiating the price with the factories extensively then obtaining management approval on the final price.
• Following up with factories to get the fabric samples and PP samples and ensuring the PP sample is made as per requirement.
• Obtaining original and PP samples for all orders.
• Following up on the size set sample after getting the approval of the PP sample and once the size set samples are approved inform the concerned merchandiser to proceed with the order process.
• Sending detailed sample stock status reports of all the products they handle every week to the line manager.
• Updating the line manager with every development, the status of the order, and sample development.
• Preparing the Purchase Order and executing it after the required approval signatures.
• Ensuring the fabric and trims are ordered and arrived on time.
• Closely monitor the production Time and Action (T&A) plan is followed as planned.
• Having and expanding the knowledge about AQL quality control systems.
• Ensuring proper Quality control is in place and monitored properly.
• Ensuring proper arrangement of final inspection is done.
• Informing the Shipping team one week before the final inspection to make shipment dispatch arrangements.
• Have complete data of factories in particular target countries to utilize as and when required; the factory data must include address, contact person, phone and email ID, factory specialization, per month production capacity, Number of Machines, details of specialized facilities/machines, Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ); the client/brands they work with, etc.
• Arranging Shipping documents and handing them over on time.
• Sending daily and periodical Reports to the concerned for every order, market rate, or any important incident.
Salary Range - AED 8000 - 10000
Planning Head / Brand Manager/ Category Manager
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Retail Management, Merchandising, or a related field.
• Experience:
o 10+ years of experience in merchandise planning, allocation, or buying, preferably in the retail or fashion industry.
• Knowledge and Skills:
o Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
o Advanced analytical and forecasting skills with a keen understanding of financial metrics.
o Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strategic mindset.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Responsibilities:
Planning & Projection
• Develop a competitive merchandise plan according to the sales data and monitor and adjust the sales plan according to the industry trends and competition
Prepare seasonal plans to ensure the product is aligned with sales goals
Analyzing Sales Data
• Review the product status for current shortages based on projections and sales, and align them with upcoming shipment status.
• Review the sales regularly and use sales comparison in order to make suggestions for increasing sales and plan accordingly.
Pricing & Strategy
• Prepare the yearly and quarterly sales projection
• Review slow and fast-moving items and provide price suggestions accordingly.
• Follow up on the special offer items inventory and liquidation plan.
Coordinating & Communicating
• Conduct periodical visits to showrooms in order to obtain merchandise feedback and other related matters.
• Attend meetings with VPs to understand their plans and requirements, and align with proper departments to communicate the meeting outcome.
• Act as the point of contact for all product-related queries.
• Manage and communicate monthly selling reports, evaluate stock levels to establish action plans, and generate reorders.
• Stay up to date with the fashion industry & trends, communicate the latest fashion updates with retail merchandisers, and guarantee that they have up-to-date knowledge about fashion & trends.
• Prepare other periodical, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports when requested.
Overseas Allocation & Distribution
• Plan shipment as per the season and requirements.
• Prepare invoices, packing list and other related shipping documents.
• Responsible for one dedicated overseas country/region.
Salary Range - AED 8000 - 10000
