As we scale up, we are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to lead the developments and help us build robust, scalable, and high-performance applications.

Role Overview

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our backend services, APIs, and databases. You will work closely with the front-end team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP and Laravel.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python and PHP.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure system stability and performance.
• Work with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL to store and retrieve data efficiently.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including planning, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a backend developer or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel framework.
• Proficient in Python and experience building backend services with it.
• Solid understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of security best practices in web development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Experience with PHP, Python, Laravel development practices.
