- Job Role and responsibilities-
- Ensure products delivered to customers exceed Quality standards whilst reducing Quality Costs
- Ensure quality standards are continuously improved to develop a Zero defect/ RFT culture in all processes
- Create a world class quality function by involving, developing and empowering employees.
- Be fully accountable for all Quality KPIs
- Prepare management Reports and animate meeting with peers and subordinates to drive corrective and preventive action plans
- Be an effective problem solver
- Lead training of team member and peers to achieve quality results
- Proven track record in managerial position
- Be hands on and have a problem solving attitude
- Technical knowledge in Garment Making would be preferable
- Ability to take full accountability of all quality activities in the factory
- Ability to deliver all Quality KPIs
- Ability to lead & manage people through engagement of peers and workers.
- Strong data-driven decision making process
- Master and lead the pre-production process in the factory
- Degree or Equivalent Qualifications.
- Significant and extensive experience in Knits garment Manufacturing
- Specialist in Quality Cost Management
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, SPC, Quality Tools
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 would be an advantage
- Exposure to Grade A customer base would be an advantage
