    Fraud Risk & Corporate Security Specialist 

    The Fraud Risk & Corporate Security Specialist will report to Manager IT, Cloud & Security. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company's intellectual, peripheral and digital assets are protected from unauthorized access. This includes securing both online and on-premise infrastructures, winnow out malicious activity, & finding and mitigating potential business and IT related risks.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities 
    • Keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments
    • Research and evaluate emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them
    • Plan for disaster recovery in the event of any security breaches
    • Monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized or illegal activity
    • Test and evaluate security products, knowledge of IDS/IPS systems
    • Design new security systems or upgrade existing ones
    • Use advanced analytic tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities
    • Engage in ethical hacking, for example, simulating security breaches
    • Identify potential weaknesses and implement measures, such as firewalls and encryption
    • Investigate security alerts and provide incident response
    • Liaise with stakeholders in relation to cyber security issues and provide future recommendations
    • Generate reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders
    • Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits relating to information security
    • Monitor and respond to phishing emails and pharming activity
    • Analysis of the security incidents, identify trends and propose specific strategies to limit their occurrence and their loss
    • Propose fraud prevention measures or controls to management and make sure that specific activities are implemented to mitigate the security risks
    • Perform security due diligence checks

    Requirements
     
    • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, NetCentric Computing, Cyber Security or similar ICT related field.
    • At least 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar area
    • Security certifications such as CEH, Network+, CISSP will be an added advantage.
    • Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of computer networks, operating systems, software, hardware and security
    • A good working knowledge of various security technologies such as network and application firewalls, host intrusion prevention and anti-virus
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Time-management and organizational skills to manage a variety of tasks, prioritize workload and meet deadlines
    • The ability to work under pressure, particularly when dealing with threats and at times of high demand.

    An attractive remuneration will commensurate with qualification and experience. Other relevant details will be shared with the successful candidate.
