Assistant ELV Engineer for Qatar

 Roles and Responsibilities :

• Coordinates and manages and/or performs service for Lighting Systems and Security Systems.
• Provides technical service to customer including technical support during the installation and commissioning of new or expanded systems.

• Coordinates with contractors in the process of installation of systems. Supervises commissioning activity on systems including loading software programs and implementing modifications as necessary.

• Conducts testing and inspects systems under maintenance agreements. Responds and carries out to completion any troubleshooting and repairs.

• Identifies hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Identifies code issues and non-conformance issues. Identifies hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. Makes recommendations regarding both systems installations and service contract facilities.

• Reports daily on activities completed, deferred, requiring further action or material.
• Participates in On-Call assignments/ schedules as required.
• Ensures that Systems are operated in full compliance to the correct standard operating procedures.

• Updates Computerised Maintenance Management Software CAFM on a monthly basis, of the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance carried out by contractors, after due verification of work done.

Desired Candidate Profile :

Education: As a minimum, a Diploma in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering

Experience: Minimum 5 years experience for Engineering Diploma holders on Intelligent Lighting

Control Systems / Faade Lighting Systems / Stadium Lighting Control Systems using KNX / DMX / other

intelligent system protocols, Security Systems (Access and CCTV) with weightage as follows:

Intelligent Lighting Control Systems / Faade Lighting Systems / Stadium Lighting Control Systems 80%

Security Systems 20%

• Fluent in English, with good written and oral communication skills.
