Senior Accountant for Hargeisa, Somaliland

 Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the accounting and financial transactions by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.

Maintenance of payroll and day to day transactions.

Analyze financial information and summarize financial status

Finalization of Accounts.

Reconciliation of Banking transactions, Customer and Vendor transactions.

Maintenance of Stock details.

Participate in the audit of financial statements.

Provide monthly reporting to the management.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Accountant or senior accountant

ERP implementation, Training, and Management are added advantages.

Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures

In-depth understanding of Accounting Principles

Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Tally, etc.,

Basic Microsoft Office skills MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

B.com or M.com degree with ERP IMPLEMENTATION experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience
