Senior RO Plant Engineer for Qatar

 Roles and Responsibilities

• Minimum 8 years experience in the O&M of various plant controlled with SCADA in the environment of large water treatment and Reverse Osmosis filtration plants.

• Good knowledge of industry standards, international guidelines (like ISO, BS) and local government guidelines and best practices.
• Operate and maintain essential SCADA and control systems and components for electric power, distribution networks, RO Membranes, filters and filtration pumps, etc

Department Operation and Maintenance department

Position : 

Reporting To Senior Manager O&M

• Fully proficient in the international and Qatari (Ministry Of Environment/Kahramaa) water
  treatment standards, engineering related theories and practices.
  • Experienced in the design of SCADA systems and involved on at least 1 project by
  implementing site wide SCADA associated with Water treatment components such as:
  Multimedia filtration, RO membrane (Reverse Osmosis) and chemical dosing systems.
  • Knowledge and application of all instrumentation related design and O&M standards, Local
  codes and regulations; working knowledge of DCS, PLC and SCADA/HMI control system
  software, hardware architecture.
  • Knowledge of automation communication protocols and networks (Profibus, Modbus, OPC & industrial Ethernet networks).

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering with
  a solid experience in Control Systems and Industrial Electronics.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of industry standards, international guidelines (like ISO, BS) and local
  government guidelines and best practices.
  • Team Player and able to manage production, equipments, staffs and contractors.
  • Ability to manage budget for Consumables, Preventive and corrective maintenance work.
  • Self-motivated, Interpersonal, initiative, analytical thinking and good decision-making
  abilities.
  • Able to redact precise technical and contractual related documents.
