4+ years experience

Metallurgist

Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering/ Material Science.

Experience: 4 to 5 years of experience in the foundry field.

Skills:

• Experience in castings manufacturing and melting of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.
• Capable of applying and developing chemical compositions of Grey cast iron, Ductile (SG) iron, Manganese steel, Chrome steel, Low alloy steels, Stainless steel, Bronze alloys, and Aluminum alloys.
• Preparing the melt plan on a daily/weekly basis.
• Leading melting team members to achieve plans and targets.
• Capable of utilizing chemical and thermal analysis equipment.
• Capable of conducting physical analysis like a tensile test, hardness test, and Charpy-impact test for the castings and samples.
• Doing the metallurgical lab activities and preparing Material Test Certificates (MTC).
• Capable of conducting various sand tests like a compressive test, LOI, green shear strength, dry compressive test, wet tensile test, permeability test, Clay tests on molding sands.
• Preparing quality documents and maintaining quality records.
• Creating and maintaining statistical process control (SPC) charts to control the process variations and metallurgical quality of the metal and the molding sand.
• Budgeting and planning the requirements for the melting department on monthly basis.

Pattern Maker

Qualification: ITI/Diploma/+2/High school.

Experience: 4 to 5 years of experience in the foundry field and pattern making.

Skills:

• Capable to read engineering drawings
• Knowledge and experience in aluminum and wooden pattern preparation
• Minimum Knowledge about pattern methods, terms, materials.
• Knowledge of pattern allowances
• Pattern and core box layout and inspection
• Pattern and core box making (Resin or wood)
• Master pattern making (Styrofoam or wood)
• Pattern mounting
• Knowledge of sand casting foundry processes
• Capable of operating lathe, milling, and router machines
• Capable of operating CNC machines is a plus

CAD Designer

Qualification: Diploma/Engineering in Mechanical/Metallurgy/production.

Experience: Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in designing for the foundry industry, mechanical industry, or similar fields.

Skills:

• Operating various design software (2D & 3D), E.g.: Auto CAD, Solid works, etc.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering and design principles.
• Generating 3D assembly & 3D parts models.
• Generating part drawings and assembly drawings.
• Capable of applying Reverse Engineering using 3D Scanner.
• Providing design support at all stages of the design process.
• Experience in tolerance analysis and manufacturing drawings.
• Experience in designing patterns and core boxes
• knowledge in pattern methods (Design gating and feeding systems)
• Knowledge of pattern allowances
