Logistics Incharge for Lagos, Nigeria

 Our client represents globally renowned brands of Automotive Aftermarket Products, such as Tires, Batteries, Lubricants, Car Care products, basic Spare Parts & Standby Power Solutions , Garage Equipment etc

Position is based in Lagos.

Qualification & Experience

• Candidate should be a Graduate with atleast 5+ years of prior experience in a similar profile for a medium/large Trading Organization in West Africa, Indian subcontinent will be preferred.
• The selected candidate is required to handle the complete responsibility of transportation of goods to branches & direct customers across Nigeria.
• The company has its own fleet of trucks & vans, however, due to volume loads frequently hires trucks on contract basis from established fleet operators.
• The job requires strong negotiation skills to secure best transportation rates, ensure time bound deliveries & accurate loading of vehicles based on demand from branches &/or customers.
• Manage the storage and transportation of a companys inventory.
• Handle all aspects of shipping and delivery and ensure customer satisfaction by staying in contact and relaying all communications concerning the delivery.
• A great asset is the communication and negotiation skills.
• The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach.
• The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.

The position is available on Bachelor status only.

Company will provide usual perks, including free housing, transportation, electricity & water, medicals & local allowance to cover the expenses at the designated location. Annual passage to home country with 30 days leave is provided.
