Workshop Mechanic Administrator for Democratic Republic Congo

 Roles and Responsibilities

1. A professionally trained vehicle and machine mechanic with experience of working in Africa

2. General knowledge of electrical, mechanical and other maintenance operations for other applications such as electro-generators, motorbikes and machinery. This includes regular maintenance as well as ad-hoc repairs

3. Ability to enter servicing data into an ERP system and report on spare parts demand and other parts stock to management on a regular basis

4. Maintain work logs and maintenance repairs

5. Basic management knowledge to handle and lead a team of local mechanics and workshop engineers

Desired Candidate Profile

Role involves : Vehicle maintenance & repair and managing spares inventory, local purchase and pricing. Monitor inventory as large stock from Dubai is procured.
