Developer Support Engineer - Games
Role and Responsibilities:
- Handle support questions from Android Game developers.
- Understand mobile game development and best practices in Android APIs and Google Play Services.
- Detailed analysis to identify the root cause of incoming issues and assign to relevant teams/suggest solutions.
Skills Required:
- BS/BE in computer science or equivalent
- Good understanding of tools, libraries, services and optimization for Android games
- Be familiar with ADB commands, Android debugging with Bugreports, logcat logs etc.
- Strong C++ and Java programming skills
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Android games development is a plus.
- Familiarity with Unity and Unreal game engines is a plus
- Familiarity with cross-platform PC development is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in using forum and bug management systems
Junior position
- Handle support questions from Android game developers.
- Understand mobile game development and best practices in Android APIs and Google Play Services.
- Detailed testing and analysis to identify the root cause of incoming issues and assign them to relevant teams.
- Create samples (if necessary) to reproduce the reported issues.
Senior position
- Handle support questions from Android game developers.
- Understand mobile game development and best practices in Android APIs and Google Play Services.
- Detailed testing and analysis to identify the root cause of incoming issues and assign them to relevant teams.
- Create samples (if necessary) to reproduce the reported issues.
- Propose technical solutions to address complex issues (e.g. memory, rendering, login/billing services) across different game engines and platform
