Requirements for Construction Manager:
Mechanical Engineering Graduate with 15-25 years of experience in construction of EPC / PMC projects in Refineries, Petrochemicals & Fertilizer plants encompassing Civil / Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Heavy & Critical lifts, Electrical & Instrumentation which includes Precommissioning and commissioning activities.
RCM will head the site establishment having control of overall management & administration; He coordinates the construction works of the plant within budget and schedule keeping in forefront safety and QA/QC requirements and is responsible for successful completion of construction of plant.
The incumbent shall have experience of liaising with customer, subcontractors and other organizations on all matters at site and site activities including establishing and maintaining the adequate relationship with local authorities.
He shall be capable to direct entire Field Organization (i.e. Execution Group, Safety Group, QA/QC Group, Project Control Group, Field Design Engineering Group, and Administrative Group) to meet obligations of the Client & Contract. RCM shall create, foster and maintain amongst the field organization the sense of morale boasting environment for mutual assistance and team-work.
He should be conversant and seasoned to handle and solve all kinds" of problems and settle any issues which may arise in the course of the site activities.
