Experience: 3 to 7 yrs.
- Advise and assist department manager/supervisors with EHS and Occupation Health and safety training and tracking.
- Perform Industrial Hygiene (IH) monitoring and evaluate results.
- Track all injuries and illnesses, including follow-up with injured employees to develop corrective actions.
- Develop and implement programs to reduce EHS and Occupational health risks and to comply with regulatory of Oman Law.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental and industrial safety permit requirements.
- Prepare and submit all required reports as per our GPI Health and Safety Manuals and Procedures.
- Prepare and present training for all new employees and annual refresher training for existing employees.
- Bachelors degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or Science.
- Nebosh on Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) is preferable but not necessary.
- Minimum four years of industrial experience, preferably in the environmental, health or safety or supervision area.
- Effective written and oral communicator.
- Knowledge in computer especially Microsoft Word, Excel.
