Area Sales Manager for Georgia

International company is looking for Area Sales Manager, based in Tbilisi. 

Job Purpose:
To manage BDF sales and execute corresponding Shopper and Customer Marketing activities in the territory of responsibility aiming to achiev business goals in accordance with the company standards.

Key responsibilities:
·         To manage the sales of the company products and to carry out relevant trade marketing activities for the clients of the specified area in order to reach the business goals.
·         To uphold and develop efficient cooperation with the clients in the specified region in accordance with the corporate standards in order to achieve the objectives set for the clients on:  turnover, profitability margins, range of representation of products and their sales share expansion in the total client’s turnover.
·         To organize regular meetings with the distributors and clients in the specified area in order to mutually settle standard operational situations and to uphold long-term partner cooperation, taking into consideration their business needs and company interests.
·         To regularly procure information from the distributors and clients on the activities of the competitors and their products on the local market, in order to analyze the risks and opportunities, as well as to work out and to introduce measures so that to protect and grow business interests of the company.  
·         To plan, organize and to control the mid-term operational activities (up to half a year) of the Distributors Sales Team in the specified area, in order for them to achieve the defined individual objectives for clients. 
·         To set monthly goals for the Distributors Sales Team on company products sales in order to achieve the planned volumes of sales and to motivate them to reach the goals of the company. 
·         To daily visit points of sale in the assigned area to monitor and control the compliance of the distributors and clients, with the effective contractual terms of (sales), and  control the point of sales performance for regular business trips with the aim to monitor compliance of the distributors and clients, and their achievement of all the major efficiency indexes which have been coordinated with the Distributors Sales Team.  

Skills/Knowledge:
-        5+ years of experience in sales, ideally within FMCG international company
-        Solid experience in building distribution
-        Capabilities to build strategic vision on developing the assigned territory
-        Entrepreneur spirit
-        High level of communication skills (both verbal and written).
-        Able to build credibility with and influence on cross-functional, multi-cultural groups
-        Result oriented, deliver to deadlines
-        Demonstrates drive and initiative
-        Proven track record of achievements
-        Knowledge of the basic principles of shopper and customer marketing in retail trade
-        Advanced PC User (Excel)
-        Good knowledge of English
-        Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills
