POSITION : CIVIL ENGINEER
LOCATION: GULF COUNTRIES
QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in oil and gas industries, Downstream or Petrochemical.
Minimum ten (10) years working experience as Civil Engineer.
Experience working with Design Engineering Contractor (or EPC) or 3rd party Consultant/Contractor is an advantage.
Experience in assessing Geotechnical Site Assessment.
SCOPE OF WORK :
Assist in tender process, participate and review technical bids.
Check and review geotechnical and other technical reports (e.g. EIA, Technical Feasibility Study, etc.) and provide recommendations.
Organize and coordinate progress meetings with 3rd Party Contractor and resolve any technical queries and to report to the Business Project Lead.
Adopt all relevant requirements around issues such as building permits, environmental regulations, civil international standard and requirement and safety on all work assignments.
Plan, design and manage, as well as supervise consultant or 3rd party contractor on site and give advice on civil engineering issues during duration of the project.
Manage, review and challenge scope changes and contract variation, participate in the resolution of end of contract claims.
Lead and promote HSSE culture and behavior
