Business Development Manager for UAE

    About The Company: 
    It is a multi product and multinational group established in 1972 by a group of technologists with the aim of manufacturing high precision and sophisticated products, mainly for discerning worldwide markets.
    It enjoys a significant position in five main business industries viz., Drum Closures, Pipes & Tubes, Engineering Services, Formwork & Scaffolding systems & accessories and Cotton Yarn. Several products in computer software and information technology have been added recently. The Company also has civil construction division; other than formwork & scaffolding division for which they are well known manufacturers.
    It is an ISO 9001:2000 certificate company having head office in Mumbai (India) & overseas offices & Warehouses in Manchester (U.K.), Lodz (Poland) & Budapest (Hungary); Chicago (U.S.A.) & Houston, Hilden (Germany), China, Australia.

    The group has a total turnover of US$ 100.00 MILLION almost 95% of which is exports. The management hopes to double the above figures by expanding the existing manufacturing facilities.

    Job Designation: Business Development Manager Civil Construction.
    Location: Dubai (For entire Middle East / Mena Region)

    Roles and Responsibilities:
    Prospect new clients for getting civil contracts.
    Estimate and quote for tenders for large civil projects.
    Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising, etc
    Plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company
    Develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales
    Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
    Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
    Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.

    Qualification:
    A Civil Engineer.
    MBA preferred.

    Experience:
    Minimum 10 to 20 years of experience in Business Development with reputed companies like Pari, Doka, L&T, Mewa, etc.
    Exposure to local construction industries and having proven track record of procuring orders. 
    Should have market knowledge; especially local construction companies in Dubai.
    Should be aware of the market; generally customers for big projects.

    Salary: Depending on Experience and Qualification as per industry standards.
