Java Developer (Risk Engineering Repo Project)
Introduction
The Risk Engineering team of NN is looking for a temp Java developer to help us with incorporating a new financial security in our framework. The duration of the project is estimated on a period of 3 months++ Starting October 1. Min. 36h/week
experience/understanding of what an Asset Manager is and does is a must-have.
The work will exists of:
- 60% updating several upload and export interfaces developed in an open-source middleware (MuleSoft) or core Java.
- 40% updating several java based analytics engines (i.e. Liquidity Risk, Leverage)
A broad skillset is key to successfully accomplish the objectives.
The Risk Engineering team consists of 2 Risk System Engineers (experienced Java developers), 2 Data Managers and the team manager.
As Java Developer for Risk Engineering you will be developing further on the existing application framework. The framework exists, amongst others, of an open-source middleware application (MuleSoft), a Hibernate Object/Relational Model on top of an Oracle database, different front-end applications (Java Swing), intranet application (JSP, Ajax, JavaScript), risk analytics engine,
Investment knowledge from previous experience is a plus.

Review the business analysis provided
Develop the different interface changes (data integration and export)
Update the different Java Analytics engine
Support testing of the new developments
