- Master degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or equivalent with 12-16 years of experience in automotive Passive safety and crash simulation using LSDyna.
- Good Knowledge on regulations, test procedures and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with interpretation of injury assessment values and various star ratings. (US NCAP, Euro NCAP)
- Expert knowledge about active and passive technologies, strategies and integration into the car.
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Should be competent to handle the model setup up for full vehicle simulation and well versed with required tools for pre-processing, solving and post processing.
- Strong communication skills to work with internal engineering team and external suppliers to demonstrate / influence direction of design based on test results.
- Excellent communication skills - Oral, Written and presentation.
- Extensive experience in Static, Quasi-Static and Dynamic Safety tests, including sled and full vehicle crash testing.
- Broad experience in working with cross functional team to drive product development activities.
- Experience on Hypermesh/ Ansa and Optistruct will be added advantage.
