FOOSCO was founded in 1983 initially with the purpose of providing healthy meals and snacks to school children. Over the years the company has diversified and grown to be among the leading food and beverages manufacturing and catering companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The catering side of the business has been operating canteens in a large number of government/private schools and corporations. The manufacturing side of the business is responsible for the manufacture of a wide range of sandwiches, fruit juices & drinks, ice lollies, natural potato chips, extruded and pellet snacks
Roles and Responsibilities
- Preparation of Lab chemicals and reagents.
- Monitoring and control of the process parameters.
- Analysis of raw material, packaging material, semi finished goods and finished goods.
- On line sampling and quality check.
- Maintaining and checking personal hygiene of the staff.
- Maintaining and checking cleanliness of the equipment and the factory.
- Documentation of QC reports.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Maintaining and checking of storage conditions of the raw material , packaging material and finished goods.
- Supporting for QA System & HACCP documentation.
- Supporting Production & Sales departments for any quality issues and market complaints.
Desired Candidate Profile
- B.Sc. Food Technology / B.Sc Chemistry/ M.sc. Chemistry.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the food industry in Quality control.
- Candidate can apply from anywhere in India.
- Meticulous attention to detail, particularly with regard to health, safety and hygiene.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong team working skills.
