Senior Project Engineer in Paris (France)

Oil and Gas Company is looking Senior Project Engineer in Paris, France

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

The job holder is accountable and responsible:

·         To contribute to managing the engineering subcontract(s) by writing/reviewing scope(s) of work, participating to contract clarifications if needed

·         To review, challenge and own the contents of the engineering studies, and ensuring consistency between engineering studies of different engineering contracts,

·         To provide support to all discipline engineers involved as required, and identifying when and how specialized discipline support and Technical Authority contribution is required.

·         To ensure all design is in compliance with requirements

·         To co-ordinate and solve specific issues and engineering queries, providing sound technical advice, and liaising with other entities in the team as and when required

·         To ensure that lessons learned from operations, past activities performed and all experience gained in the previous project studies as well as relevant project lessons learned are valued and capitalized

·         To identify  solutions that bring value to the development concept, ensuring that adequate technical definition is provided to the required level for cost estimation and execution planning

·         To ensure that Operational and Safety input are introduced and managed, with particular reference to layout definition criteria.

·         To ensure that all opportunities offered by introduction of new technologies are pursued and evaluated.

·         To act as deputy to the Engineering Manager as and when required

·         To ensure the preparation of detailed written reports and slides and make presentations as required

·         To support the preparation of presentations, and close-out reporting at the end of the study stage
