Training Officers (Saudi Arabia)

Experience: 3 to 5 yrs.

Urgently required for one of the highly successful Dairy Foods Production / Processing Company in Saudi Arabia.

CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

To ensure the shop floor staff is provided with appropriate training and equip them with the required knowledge and skills to carry out the operations smoothly. 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (AOR) SUCCESS INDICATORS 

-Ensure that the training, whether technical, H&S or Quality related, is provided to the concerned employees as per the training plan. 
-Ensure the knowledge and skills of staff is measured against a set criteria to meet the demands of the profession. 
-Ensure on the job training is provided to perform regular maintenance and component overhaul so that the trainees are fully competent and qualified within the field of Heavy Vehicle Mechanic. 
-Ensure the training material and resources supplied by external trades training provider are developed and utilised during training sessions appropriately. 
-Ensure trade test is conducted for required staff in order to assess their competency through objective and measured written and practical assessments. 
-Ensure the young Saudi Nationals are developed and trained on the tools and techniques appropriately in order to make them fully qualified and competent. 

ACTIVITIES 

-Assist in developing Training & Development plans for all concerned staff. 
-Ensure all concerned new staff undergo an induction process 
-Ensure all SOPs are fully understood by staff based on where these should be applied and who needs to know. 
-Ensure all technical training is planned and executed in agreement with line managers 
-Ensure the implementation and execution of the training plan and feedback / results communicated to managers 
-Conduct technical and practical classroom training in line with vehicle manufacturers requirements and standards.
-Maintain association and compliance with Associate Apprentice Training provider. (Almarai Training College) 
-Ensure all technical staff is regularly assessed and meet the competencies outlined in their job descriptions 
-Assist respective Team Leaders in the execution of the daily work plan

PERSON SPECIFICATION
ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
ESSENTIAL 

Heavy Diesel A Grade Qualified Mechanic 

DESIRABLE
 
Train the Trainer qualification

NON ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
ESSENTIAL DESIRABLE 

-Arabic Language
English language: Speak
Computer Skills: MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Visio.
-Electronics understanding
-Heavy Vehicle and trailer braking systems incorporation latest EBS technologies.
-Heavy Vehicle operation (license) and road test ability.

DESIRABLE
 
-Financial understanding
-Standard Times for jobs
-Job instruction
-Root cause analysis
-Total performance management (TPM) or similar programs.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
 
2+ years experience in delivering training programs and working with off shore training providers with 3 -5 years in repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles.

DESIRABLE
 
Transport, workshop and logistics operations exposure.
