Assistant Kitchen Manager/ Sous Chef for Kuwait

Experience: 2 to 3 yrs

A chain of Restaurant looking for  following Opening in Kuwait.

Requirements:
Strong communication skills (Verbal, Listening & Writing)
Advanced Knowledge of Computers and interpreting reports skill.
Culinary Management graduate or Equivalent.
Certified HACCP or other Food safety Trainings.
Demonstrating good Leadership Skills.
Resposibilities:
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the Restaurant kitchen by assisting theExecutive Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
  • Coordinates with the Executive chef and Purchasing Coordinator in maintaining the
  • required Stock.
  • Plays a active role in Wastage control and efficiently involves in reusing methods in
  • par with the public standards.
  • Will act as a Stewarding Manager and will ensure proper productivity out that
  • department.
  • Will play a active role in the Material controls to ensure proper outcome as required
  • in set budget.
  • You will be responsible for the proper display of Food Items which includes Salads
  • and specials at all time by inspecting the displays as often as possible.
  • Will prepare and present Food to a high standard, maintain hygiene practices and
  • actively develop your kitchen skills and knowledge.
  • You will be required to ensure that all staff within your department

SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related
  • documents.
  • Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the
  • Operation.
  • Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas
  • presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Basic Computer Skills - Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal
  • computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).
  • Communication - Skilled at clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of
  • media; engaging the audience and helping them understand and retain the message.
  • Planning and Organizing - Skilled at establishing courses of action for self and others to
  • ensure work is completed efficiently.
  • Problem Solving/Decision Making - Ability to identify and understand issues, problems,
  • and opportunities; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing
  • solutions.

Salary: 300 KWD per month

Other Benefits: 300 accommodation allowances
