Experience: 10 to 12 yrs.
In this position, you will be a member of the Corporate Services ATM Operations group reporting to the CS ATM Ops Engineering Manager. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Role modeling a commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence at a competitive cost.
- Responsible for ATM Operations Sustaining and continuous improvement of existing systems. Accountable for system operations, maintenance procedures, and reliability. Approves all changes for system operations including Statistical process control, control limits, CE! & system matching, PM adequacy and job plans.
- Design of all new I&C, Building Management System (BMS), Life Safety System (LSS) & fire protection systems and installations. Training/mentoring of personnel, and start-up (commission) of new installations and upgrades
- Responsible for ATEM (Assembly and Test Energy Monitoring) development and implementation.
- Responding to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur for troubleshooting or systems improvements
- Safe system operation, authorizes non-routine work (Site Incident Prevention Program, SIPP; etc.) being performed on their systems. Coordinates factory impacts of owned utility systems
- Validates manufacturing and/or system changes do not violate utility system capacity, safety, environmental or reliability requirements
- Is the technical system content expert in the Virtual Factory (VF). Owns System start-up & acceptance testing, matching & differences White Papers & recovery plans. Owns proliferating any major changes to systems/processes/procedures
- Owns any small projects which will be necessary to cover any capacity issues, safety concerns or energy savings measures. Owns driving these projects and ensuring that the designs and equipment specifications meet the Intel Standards.
- Drives cost & energy effectiveness. Supports budget owners by forecasting spends & analyzing vs. actuals
- Supports projects, factory task forces, cross-site teams, cross-discipline teams, Module Teams, Facility Process Transfer, incident resolution, etc. when their systems are involved. Takes ownership as assigned
- Supports Technician Training & Certification and technical career ladder's programs
- Technical support for material, spare parts, supplier issues, service contracts.
Other Requirements:
- Commitment to travel for a period of 1- 6 months to support business needs.
- Commitment to work odd hours to support business needs in different regions.
- This position can be based in either Malaysia, Chengdu, Vietnam or India.
Qualifications
You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Control Automation/ Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years experience in an engineering role.
- Additional desired experience to include:
- Proven track record in design /installation/ commissioning/operation of Instrumentation and Control Systems.
- Knowledge of A-B PLCs (Hardware & Programming), SCADA package like RSView32 /FTView or Cimplicity , SQL general programming skills and database management, industrial networks (like RIO, Ethernet IP, Control net, Device net, Modbus, OPC), life safety systems (on Notifier, EST3, Simplex) & fire protection systems.
- A good understanding of facility systems, automation, quality systems and statistical analysis
- Excellent analytical aptitude for engineering problem solving and innovative design engineering
- Must possess strong project management, verbal communications and presentation skills.
