Ensures that a complete preventive maintenance program is in operation for all equipment which is fully documented with file on all equipments, operating manuals, manufacturers data, specifications and diagrams. Maintains all as built drawing. Keep them up to date with any changes
Ensures that all plants and equipments in the hotel are working at maximum efficiency
Ensures that a comprehensive utilities management system is in place
Ensure that the Holicare program is effectively managed
Prepares and submits the engineering component of the annual Capex budget
Prepares and submits the engineering component of the annual Business budget
Ensures that the department is efficiently staffed, trained and motivated and achieve the required standards
Adheres to Company administrative policy and procedures and prepares and submits required reports on timely basis
Actively develops others through trainings
Effectively leads the safety Action Committee meeting on monthly basis
Ensure that an affective Risk Management System is being operated in the hotel and monitors the procedures for the safety and security of employees and guests
Controls the supplies, keys and other assets within the engineering department
Controls the supply of replacement keys within the hotel policy
Select new employees who meet and exceed the position specifications within the company policy
Assists management in determining the necessity and viability of outside contracting, investigates contractors and submits recommendations for final approval
Acts as hotel coordinator or liaison with outside contractors and agencies when assigned duties in connection with major refurbishment, projects and additions.
Coordinates with any technical services management which is requested
Actively participates and provides support to area issues and initiatives concerning the ongoing improvement of the engineering aspects of existing operations and new developments.
Achieve product quality standards as they relate to the building, state of decoration and repairs, level of maintenance, hygiene, safety, sanitation, cleanliness and landscaping

1. Engineering Degree, preferably Mechanical Engineer will be an advantage
2. A/C mechanic background
3. Minimum 2 years experience in Managerial position
4. International Chain Hotel Experience
5. Excellent command of English Language
