Procurement Engineer for Oman

Experience: 7 to 12 yrs.

Urgent : Sr. Mechanical Procurement Engineer@ Oman 

• Male Candidates , with prior EPC Mechanical Procurement experience
• Candidate must be in position to join on Bachelor status (Minimum 6 Months) 
• Previous Middle East experience will be preferred
• Client Interview will be in Chennai & Mumbai / Delhi shortly

Qualification & Experience: 

• Candidate should be Graduate Mechanical Engineer
• 7 to 12 years MEP / Electro-Mechanical Procurement commodities , with EPC companies

Job profile: 

• MEP / Electro-Mechanical Procurement
• Continuously monitoring, evaluating & improving supplier performance. 
• Projecting stock levels.
• Reviewing tenders & bids.
• Controlling the purchasing budget.
• Monitoring delivery times
• Ensuring the adequate supply of all required materials, components & equipment.
• Cost savings
• Managing the procurement supplier relationships
• Helping to source alternative items
• Developing sourcing strategies.
• Managing commodity cost initiatives.
• Regularly contacting suppliers to renegotiate prices.
• Resolving disputes & claims with vendors & suppliers.
• Promoting best practice
• Involved in writing up contracts & the terms
• Involved in selling off excess, damaged & inventory & stock.
• Overseeing staff training.
• Floating RFQ, collecting offers, making comparative statement, performing total cost analysis, preparing basis for decision during project execution.
