Warehouse Storekeeper / Logistic Coordinator for Apex Gulf Trading LLC, Dubai

Apex Gulf Trading LLC is a well-established group of building material trading companies with three branches across the UAE. Our company operates across four divisions: 

Supplying technical products to the oil and gas industry.

Supplying building materials to the construction sector.

Sales of industrial lubricants (exports).
Supplying laboratory instruments.

We manage an extensive inventory with over 34,000 items traded to date and new products being continuously added. We are a dynamic trading company, buying products from the local UAE market, importing from abroad, and selling to customers both locally and internationally

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Store Keeper cum Logistic Coordinator with experience in the trading industry, who can effectively manage large transactions and logistics. The successful candidate will lead junior warehouse staff and ensure smooth operations in our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Management: Oversee daily operations in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing products.
• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring that all products are stored and handled appropriately. Conduct regular inventory audits.
• Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate deliveries, working closely with drivers and transport partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
• Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers for product orders, track shipment progress, and ensure proper documentation for all imports and local purchases.
• Team Leadership: Supervise junior warehouse staff and provide training to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Order Fulfillment: Ensure that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched within the agreed timeframes.
• Health & Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and best practices in the warehouse.
• Documentation: Ensure all shipping and warehouse documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in warehouse and logistics coordination within the trading industry is essential.
• Familiarity with handling a large inventory and managing high transaction volumes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and logistics systems.

Salary & Benefits:

• Starting Salary: AED 2,200 net per month.
• Food Costs and Accommodation cost: Estimated at AED 800 per month. (OWN COST)
• Visa: Employment visa cost is borne by the company. However, if the candidate chooses to resign, they will be required to reimburse the visa cost (approx. INR 200,000).

Other Conditions:

• The company has a non-compete clause, which prevents employees from joining competitors for 2 years after leaving the company.
• Candidates seeking short-term employment are not encouraged to apply.
• After 6 months of employment, there will be a performance-based salary increment.

Application Process:

• Interview: Initial interviews will be conducted via Zoom.
• Trial Period: Selected candidates will be issued a 2-month UAE visit visa for a trial period, during which they will receive the agreed salary. Candidates must cover the cost of their own flight ticket to Dubai.
