Plant Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage plant operations, ensuring efficient production of high-quality bricks and admixtures.
- Oversee daily activities, including raw material procurement, product planning, and quality control.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to manufacturing processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 8-12 years of experience in the building materials industry (cement bricks & interlocking).
- Strong knowledge of AAC blocks, bricks, concrete, ceramics, admixture products.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale industrial plants with multiple shifts
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities, including sourcing raw materials, consumables, capital equipment, and MRO items.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards for purchasing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to supply chain disruptions or vendor performance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Ability to analyze data from various sources (e.g. market reports) to inform purchasing decisions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP) for managing procurement operations.
- Strong communication skills for effective negotiation with vendors.
- 6-8 years of experience in manufacturing industry or similar field
