Store Assistant for African Industries, Nigeria

Role & responsibilities

  • Oversee the receiving, storing, and issuing of goods. Maintain proper records of all stock levels and update inventory systems regularly. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with the system.
  • Systematically organize the store to ensure easy access and avoid damage or deterioration.
  • Manage the distribution of material to various departments or production units.
  • Ensure that the Organization maintains adequate Inventory levels to meet production or
    operational needs.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Create the purchase orders, track their status, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Both roles are vital for ensuring that a company's supply chain runs smoothly, with the right materials available when needed and cost-efficiency in purchasing and storage.
  • Good working knowledge of ERP/Navision system.
  • ISO system working knowledge is essential.

Preferred candidate profile


Education - Any Graduate


Minimum 5 years experience required in Stores.
