Role & responsibilities
- Oversee the receiving, storing, and issuing of goods. Maintain proper records of all stock levels and update inventory systems regularly. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with the system.
- Systematically organize the store to ensure easy access and avoid damage or deterioration.
- Manage the distribution of material to various departments or production units.
- Ensure that the Organization maintains adequate Inventory levels to meet production or
operational needs. - Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Create the purchase orders, track their status, and ensure timely delivery.
- Both roles are vital for ensuring that a company's supply chain runs smoothly, with the right materials available when needed and cost-efficiency in purchasing and storage.
- Good working knowledge of ERP/Navision system.
- ISO system working knowledge is essential.
Preferred candidate profile
Education - Any Graduate
Minimum 5 years experience required in Stores.
