We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the petrochemical or oil & gas industry, including experience in the Gulf region.
The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and managing safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at various sites. The role requires strong knowledge of industry safety standards, risk assessment techniques, and emergency response procedures specific to high-risk environments such as petrochemical plants or oil and gas facilities.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the petrochemical or oil & gas industry, Gulf Experience is must.
Education: Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field(preferred).
Certifications:
- Recognized safety certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent.
- Additional certifications relevant to the oil & gas industry (e.g., H2S training, Permit to Work systems) are advantageous.
Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards for petrochemical or oil & gas operations.
