Qualification : B.Sc in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Technology.
Certified Internal Quality Auditor
Experience : At least 3-5 years in case of B.Sc Eng and 6-8 years in case of Diploma. Must have experience in quality management system and familiar with the workings of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025.
Also should have knowledge related to quality control and construction material testing methods and procedures. He
should be familiar with International Standards for quality control and quality assurance. He should also have
experience in performing internal quality audits, preparation of reports and implementation of the procedures.
Duties :
QA/QC engineer should ensure that quality control plans and documents as per company’s expectation are followed and implemented
He should identify problems, pose plausible solutions and implement those solutions to achieve objectives of the project.
He should plan and coordinate quality control activities and conduct sessions to explain to workers the importance of
following national/international quality norms / rule / regulations.
He should supervise working of quality service providers and inspectors.
He should also be able to review documentation reports, audits and other official reports to keep as final records.
Skills :
Must be qualified for tests appropriate to position on FSL skills matrix
Good in computers
Good understanding of HSEMS system
Good understanding of QMS system
Good standard of written and oral English
